Peter Psarouthakis founded EWI & Associates, Inc. in 1995 and has been a licensed professional investigator since that time. He provides investigative services to a wide range of corporate, law firm and government clients throughout the United States. He is also a credentialed contract investigator for several United States government agencies.

Since 2000 Mr. Psarouthakis has played a major role in legislative affairs impacting the professional investigation and security services professions on both the state and national levels. Mr. Psarouthakis is the founder and past Chairman of Investigative & Security Professionals for Legislative Action (ISPLA), He is a past-President and former Board member of the Michigan Council of Private Investigators and past legislative committee chair for the National Association of Legal Investigators.

Peter Psarouthakis holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice and an Associates degree in Law Enforcement, both from The University of Toledo. He is also a member of ASIS International, National Association of Legal Investigators, and Pi Gamma Mu International Honor Society in Social Science.

Jim founded INTELLENET in 1983 and serves as its Executive Director. He is a retired USAF Lt. Colonel who served 20 years with the Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI) as a Special Agent. In his last position he served as Director of Criminal Investigations. Post retirement employment was as a Security Consultant for two firms prior to establishing his own company. He currently provides security consulting services, security training, expert witness testimony (security cases), and investigative services.

He holds a BA from Colgate University and an MA from the University of Hawaii. He has taught security courses at both Alvernia College (baccalaureate) and St. Joseph’s University (masters level).

He is a licensed PI in Pennsylvania and is an active member of ASIS, AFOSISA, HAPS, NALI, CII (among others) and is Past President of the Montgomery County (PA) Private Detectives Association. He was co-founder of the Pennsylvania Association of Licensed Investigators (PALI), serving as Chairman of the Board (1997-2001 and 2008-2011) and President (2003-2007). He is also a member of VIDOCQ, a Lifetime CPP and served as a member of the ASIS Investigations Council from 1999-2007. He is also a charter Board Member of ISPLA and serves on the Advisory Board of IAAR. He is the recipient of the NCISS Duffy Award and the Buddy Bombet Lifetime Achievement Award.

Edward Spicer has 37 years experience conducting investigations in both the public and private sector in both overt and undercover capacities. He holds a degree in Criminal Justice from Hesser College and a Professional Designation as a CFC (Certified Fraud Consultant) from the International Fraud Training Institute & BAI (Board Accredited Investigator). He is a licensed PI in Mass, Maine & NH. A full service private investigative & security services firm, Ocean States Investigative Group, LLC (OSIG) was formed in 2004 to provide high quality, cost effective investigative services for the insurance and legal communities as well as the private individual. The staff of male & female investigators is strategically located throughout Eastern Mass & reputable colleagues throughout the rest of the country. The staff has years of combined experience in workers’ compensation, human resources, risk management, law enforcement, corrections, investigations, executive protection and security services. Ed has spoken at various conferences across the country on Surveillance and has run a number of successful PI Association conferences.

In addition to Ed belonging to Intellenet (current Assistant Executive Director), Ed also belongs to the Greater Beverly Chamber of Commerce, the LPDAM-Licensed Private Detectives Association of Massachusetts (Past BOD & Past Secretary), the NHLI-New Hampshire League of Investigator’s (Past BOD), New England Claims Association (NECA), Boston Association of Claims Executives (BACE), Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) & New England Anti-Fraud Association, New England Association of Insurance Fraud Investigators (NEAIFI). He is also a founding member of Investigative & Security Professionals for Legislative Action (ISPLA) & is a past President of the Maine Licensed Private Investigator’s Association (MLPIA). Ed has been a Basketball official at the High School, College & Prep School level for 26 years.

Jeffrey Stein has more than thirty years’ experience in investigative and security services. Stein has conducted over two thousand internal and external interviews during the course of his career in the private sector. He is a licensed professional investigator in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from West Chester University. Stein is a Past President of the Board of directors for the West Chester University Alumni Association. He has advanced training in interviewing and interrogation techniques and attended New Jersey State Police Academy, Municipal Class located in Sea Girt, NJ. Stein is a Board Certified Criminal Defense Investigator and Board Accredited Investigator.

Stein’s expertise, while specializing in criminal defense / homicide investigations, includes personal injury, inadequate security, liquor liability, corporate fraud, white collar crime, workplace violence, security policies and procedures and civil investigations. In January of 2018 he was inducted into the Vidocq Society. Known for his ability in identifying and documenting the elements of theft, fraud and criminal conduct or civil misconduct based on data mining, interviewing, investigating and surveillances.

Stein is a former New Jersey 911 operator as well as a New Jersey State Certified Firefighter and Emergence Medical Technician. His current training and certifications includes PA Act 235; Lethal Weapons Training, TIPS® (Training for Intervention ProcedureS) Certified Trainer.

Stein is an active member of IntelleNet, a prestigious international network of investigators, and is their Assistant Executive Director and also the Educational Training Director for the Intellenet Continuous Education Academy.
