When a Police Officer is involved in an incident, more often than not, the true review is of the policies and procedures in place and if they were correct and or followed. This two hour block of instruction will give you insight into how to begin an investigation into Police Policy and Procedures, what to look for when conducting the investigation and tips on how to successfully complete this type of review.

This presentation provides an overview of the Social Media demographics and landscape showing how much information is available to investigators and why we should care. This presentation will identify various challenges and strategies to collecting social media. Finally, Mr. Loper will take a deeper dive into the Facebook and Snapchat applications and show what information can be captured using different methods and tools available to the digital forensic community.
